With pretty good wear on the crown and leaves, I'd give it a VF-30 maybe 30+

That's lovely - I would say AU-50 as well.

or maybe EF-45? Either way, it's chief strength is that it's problem-free. A very nice coin.

Here is a great example of why we need VF35 in use in Canada. I would not buy or sell this coin as EF .
