User ijn1944 here. Yes, I do like the design. And yes, my avatar (one of the forum's selections) is used these days by three or four active posters.

I'm tired of all these so called collectible quarters in general. Another quarter series is not what we needed, yet that is all we're going to get. They should consider Mt. Vernon as a permanent design for the quarter reverse.
Dimes would be be more interesting looking if they started a collector series on them.

The Lincoln memorial was on the penny reverse for 49 years.
Why not put the Jefferson memorial on the nickel reverse?

We all know why they have all these new series. From wikipedia so take it for what it's worth: "Since the 50 State Quarters Program was expected to increase public demand for quarters which would be collected and taken out of circulation, the Mint used economic models to estimate the additional seigniorage the program would produce. These estimates established a range of $2.6 billion to $5.1 billion. ( At the end of the program, the Mint estimated the actual increase in seigniorage to be $3 billion.) The Mint also estimated the program would earn $110 million in additional numismatic profits. ( The final, post-program estimate was $136.2 million.) The Mint used these estimates to support the proposed program, and the legislation enacting the 50 States Quarters program cited these estimates. I couldn't find any numbers for the DC/Territories and ATB series. Until people stop collecting these and not spending them they will continue with these new series.

Quote: Dimes would be be more interesting looking if they started a collector series on them. True, but the small size makes it challenging to create meaningful designs. However, it could be a good exercise for minimalists.

Quote: It is the exact same design used for the 1999 commemorative. And is also almost certainly the exact design Laure Fraser submitted for the original quarter design back in 1932.

Hey Joshu - a I thought that the Jefferson Memorial was the Monticello.
Is there a different Jefferson memorial.

The Monticello was Jefferson's house in Virginia. It is considered one of the most beautiful architect buildings in the world. The Jefferson memorial is in DC and was built in the years soon after the Jefferson nickels came out.

I'm ok with the obverse, I'm waaaaayyyyyy over the Quarter program(s). It's time to be done and pick a reverse and stick with it for awhile.

Obverse looks fine, except for the hair. The reverses on like 90% of the quarters in the last decade I could not care less for, including 2022.

I like the Laura Gardin Fraser design on the obverse. But I would like a liberty design even more. In fact, I would prefer a liberty design on ALL coins. For the reverse, I have no complaints on the designs for the 2022 quarters. Not what I would have chosen, but acceptable. And I have no complaints about changing the designs every year, but I think 5 per year is too much for 1 year. 2 would be better.
