I'm new to coin error searching and came across this quarter in some pocket change. I'm sure it maybe damage but was just curious because the lines radiating from the center. No markings/ damage observed on the opposite site.

Definitely damage. You can't have a coin struck in collar with a rim only on one
side without it being damaged.

Yeah! Most definitely holding on to it. wish I had an idea of what could have caused it
