1810 Half Dollar Authentic?

Hey Everyone,

Wondering if this is a copy? I haven't purchased it yet but its at a good price if it is real.
Looking at others online and some of the font is matching.

I asked if they had a sigma machine we could test it for % and they did not.

Appreciate any input!

You are correct the coin is a counterfeit. The coin has a number of issues, but the top star on obverse is out of position. The point of the top star should point at the hair next to Liberty not the cap.

First glance fake, wrong obverse and reverse design type for 1810. Most likely cast, with a silver plated brass core

The coins design type and reverse font match the 1822. It looks like the original die/cast came from a 1822 and the counterfeiter changed dates. Here is a photo of a 1822 note the star's position over the cap match the OP counterfeit.
