This is another Seated Liberty coin that I'm not real sure about. I want to call it fine, but I'm hesitant because of the weakness of the E in LIBERTY. What do y'all think? Fine, or should I inventory it as Very Good? Thanks for looking, and for your opinion. Ralph

Or F-15, minimum. Reverse is nice.

I would attribute the weak E to a bit of strike weakness and I have to go with F15 as well but it could push VF20 in hand, looks nice and original

Y'all really think so? I was of the understanding that LIBERTY had to be pretty strong to go that high on the grade. Guess my ignorance (coin grsding) is showing through again.

Wow, You folks need to get some sleep at night! Ralph for the fine grade "Liberty" must be readable. An XF grade would require a strong Liberty. And VF falls in between. This one looks all original and is a solid F15 with a shot at VF20.

I agree this coin should just make VF-20.

I'll contribute another vote for F-15.

I would have to guess F-15. (Still a great coin and exactly what most of my Seated Liberty Half's look like!)
