I have some guy who wants to buy this from me this morning. If possible, please give me the grade and a suggested retail price. Thanks for the quick response

Thanks for the photos. I would need to see a photo of the note with side lighting. It's unfortunate about the marks on the back.

Quote: What may those be? I'm sorry, I thought they were obvious. Look at mine and then look at the OP's note. Two dark, vertical marks.

Traces of a teller's stamp (I know they're usually found on the front)? Agree a side-lit image would help.

It's hard to tell the grade the pictures aren't great. I for one would pass due to the water staining and black marks unless it was cheap.

These most recent photos originated while I was outside of my studio with the normal lighting equipment available to me. Consequently, I had to use natural sunlight for these side photos while this bill was on top of my car's roof. Let me know if this method or some other method will best suffice for meeting all of the requirements to obtain the grade most accurately. Also, what is the highest amount that most buyers would pay for this bill?

What @Steve meant was a photo with lighting from the side at a low angle. This highlight wrinkles and imperfections that are not visible with lighting from above. Sometimes the results are shockingly revealing. Here's an example (also stolen from Steve) from a recent thread on the subject).

I hope that now some accurate pricing and grading data can be given.:

Maybe low VF with the aforementioned marks - say $1,200?

High denominations are bringing crazy prices. I'd say $1200 to $1400, even with the marks. If it didn't have the marks, I'd say easily $1600+
