Perhaps Claudius II, Diocletian...?

Regnal year 3, eagle standing right, looking left with wreath.

Can you make out any lettering around the ob, especially 12 O'clock to 4?

Hi Palouche!
Sadly no, I can see nothing better than what can be seen in the picture. And using magnification is more confusing rather than helpful.

The last three letters seem to be "CEB" but thatīs no great help either of course.
