Hello All,

Just got back from the antique shop, got a few coins. Looking through the Lincoln cents with my naked eye, It just appeared wider, didn't look to damaged, so I took a chance on it for $1. (I need to buy a loop to take with me)

Getting it home, confirmed DDO FS-101. Ive found a FS-103 in the past but never the 101.

Very nice find! For $1 I would have taken the gamble as well, and
clearly it paid off! This coin would benefit from some verdi-care.

I have been waiting for ANACS to open up their summer special, was going to send a few coins in, pay the extra for the conservation on this maybe.

Im hesitant to try conservation myself, allthough I have some 1000s of wheat pennies to experiment with

Nice, would never have thought to look for coins in an antique shop -- Well done.

I would agree with the Verdi-Care application, that stuff looks green.

here it is, straight graded. Can definitely tell how the conservation worked on this coin. I paid $39 blanket fee which allowed ANACS to conserve any coin they felt needed it
