That is an interesting bit of exonumia @nells. Given the March of Dimes connection to Polio, I wonder if this isn't an insert for one of the "portals" found on the side of an iron lung. I can see on the interwebs that little models of these machines were used as collection boxes, but perhaps an actual iron lung was converted for fundraising purposes as well? For sure that is just speculation on my part, but thx for sharing!
