I'm in love with her. I know this shy girl has a right to F-12 but will ANACS give it F-15? Its in the mail headed west to Colorado - pics. in kitchen light no editing will post results. Anyone have an idea how forgiving TPG's are on old dings like ones on neck? Barber Half's and quarters seem to get some consideration but these dimes don't leave much room for damage.
Enjoy all and thanks. Ran head first into the forums new pixel photo cropper argh good grief will need to actually learn how to use it LOL. Got these loaded somehow.

I too see it as F-12, but it may squeak by as F-15.

Also, is that damage I see in the field just above the cap, and below the "ES" in "STATES"? Maybe just the lighting in the photo?
Rest in Peace

Def a F coin, not sure 12 vs 15, but I will say it has a lovely circ cameo going on. Would love to build a set of these with that exact same look.

F12 is right on the money, and I agree it's a nice example of an F12.

Why does F-12 or F-15 really matter?

Coinfrog thanks for question on F-12 F-15 mattering...that's a valid question my answer is I ride several (more than 12) of forum members backs for information that's scarce and hard to come by on series that fascinate me. Barbers are a fickle series I love them their attainable and what I feel are bargain but being a journeyman grader I subconciouly sorta BAM! throw em out there and stir up a hornets next. I need to work on my tact.
Will paraphrase entire paragraph into one sentence - some guys on forum know their stuff I love coins so sometimes I get buggie and start bugging.
Your input Coinfrog is frequently the bar level especially on classic series so sorry I lean in too much sometimes. Thanks all of you, Dimes are 20-30% cheaper raw I see opportunity if I can learn how to grade properely and that's my forum story and I'm sticking to it.
Got a cherry of an G-6 1897 S Half wow! will make new post.
