I'm pretty sure this is a struck through error but guessing it is from wire.

Looks like a fingerprint on the obverse, if that's yours' acetone asap.

Probably more like struck through a hair as it is pretty fine.
In any case a nice find.

Very nice find. Congrats.

IMHO, a wire wouldn't curve like that and a hair wouldn't "stretch" that much around the base of the "S" before breaking.
The way the line curves with the base of the S makes me think this line was on the planchet before being struck.

Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Thanks Petespockets, I agree that the way it curves with the S is a cool curiosity and that hair would break apart too easily unless it was horse hair :)

Yes John1, you can see the greasy fingerprints on both sides and I did acetone it. It was not my greasy fingers either :)
