I've inherited 12 Danbury mint commemoratives that are in sealed plastic bags. I've gone to the Danbury mint website but can't find any info on them. I'd like to know if they are silver or a base metal (they have some weight to them)(I know, buy a scale). Any ideas where I can find anything more about these items? They cover topics like the first inaugeration, Shays' rebellion, the Alamo.

We need more info and to help you.
Are they the MEN IN SPACE set in a wooden box?
If so they are 24 k gold plated and sell around 150.00 on ebay in mint condition.
