In hand, the color is unlike any I have seen. I can't even describe it. The scope doesn't do it justice either. The obverse detail is pretty good. Overall, any good?

I'm good with MS66. ONE CENT (reverse) seems a little 'ragged/rough' in spots. Mint mark looks to have a hit, as does the 4.

The close up makes the surface look much rougher than the 5X loupe. Same thing I saw under the scope. The color I won't say is awesome but just different than things I have been seeing after close to a thousand rolls (no joke)

You are so right, The surfaces are not smooth at all. Would this be indicative of a LDS coin? The detail of Lincolns' face as well as the color caught me off guard. This particular year has good detail on the obverse

No, you wouldn't have the sharpness if it was a LDS .

decent strike on both sides. I'm not sure how a TPG will see the fields since this is blown up a good bit. what bothers me on this one is quite a few of the letters on the rev have nicks and marks

i dont think this one warrants sending in. I think it should make MS66RD though. the rough fields are a negative for eye appeal

what would be interesting is to add a second set of photos to your posts without the scope and in natural light. that way we can better assess the coin. its sort of like grading a coin using Trueview which is more of a challenge and rarely can get an accurate assessment
