Poll Question
Now that I am fairly sure this cherry picked coin is indeed a proof, I'll need to send it off for grading.
Which means, I will need to join one of the main coin grading services.

This coin has a few light scratches or lines on the jaw, numerous rim contact marks and a few very light contact marks on the reverse.

The surface quality and reflectiveness is best shown in the first two images. The detail in the other images.

I would appreciate your opinion on the grade of this. If you are not good about proof grades, please don't choose without a comment.

Thanks for looking and your thoughts everyone.

I don't think you have to join ANACS or ICG to submit coins.

Nice Jeff!

WD, I have always loved the "war time" nickels, I will also tell you this is among the sweetest of wartime proofs I have ever seen, Nice find.. I do not think you have to join ANACS to get this coin graded, If you want to use their services, good luck, Mike...

Very nice coin. I wish they would put the mint mark above Monticello again.

This is also one of the nicest proofs I've seen from this era.
