Please excuse my profane love of these low grade middle of the rarity road Quarters and my joy in sharing them. The 1898 O is a bell and takes the shine away from the sublime 1894 O. The moodyblues song "lovely to see you again my friend" pops into my head when finding original Barber quarters.
Former $15.00 later $12.00 enjoy and grade.

Both G06 with the '98 choice and the '94 just making G06. Both great looking circ examples

1898-O is very close to VG-08, but the obverse falls just a bit short. G-06.
1894-O is G-06.

EDIT: Both coins have really nice eye appeal for the grades.

Wow, the reverse of the 1898 is fantastic! IMO there is no circulated coin that can compare to a Barber quarter with a fully black circulation cameo.
That is a coin I happily pay a big premium for although I prefer them in VF.

G6 sounds about right for this one.

Nice pick up!
