The 1898 O is a bell and takes the shine away from the sublime 1894 O. The moodyblues song "lovely to see you again my friend" pops into my head when finding original Barber quarters. IMO there is no circulated coin that can compare to a Barber quarter with a fully black circulation cameo. That is a coin I happily pay a big premium for although I prefer them in VF.
