I got to tell you this thing freaked me out the first time I looked at it in a dark room under my little amateur loop magifier thingy . Its kind of holograpic when you tilt it around. Looks like the corpse bride or maybe my ex wife . Oh and pleased to meet you all for my first post on your forum .. Please be very patient it has been a minute since I have posted on a public forum . It's just damage, as it didn't happen during the strike. ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!! Uncle Bingo New Member United States 26 Posts	Posted 05/30/2022 8:42 pm It just looks a little to precise' like both of them in the same plane sort of thing same spacing of whatever made the marks too. My first thought was hobo dollar . But then I wondered if it got caught in the conveyor or something fragment off the die and they struck it twice. I just don't know . I will have to take a picture of the reverse but nothing jumped out at me as abnormal . Its a no mint P I guess . Nothing real special in the VAM World for this common year that I could find to explain it . Maybe someone with a leather punch did it on purpose . Heck if I know . Long story short , I did something everyone advised me not to . I bought a couple shot gun rolls off the internet. So out of 40 Morgan's I have only sent one of them in for grading so far because I thought it was beautiful. It is not this 1882 -P I have posted, but it was also a Common, no variety I know of yet, because I don't know what all the VAM stuff really means .That subject may take 10 or 20 years to get a basic idea off. .///Bob Report this Post to the Staff
