These Etsy scammers "Koreannooodleduck" has not only found the link to the fake gold maples, but has also sourced some old RCM clamshells, the outer box, and has created their own fake COA.

I love it.

Nothing we can really do about etsey unfortunately, it should be an immediate red flag considering one oz of gold is almost 1700USD and this is priced under 300CAD. Iv seen silver plated fakes but not gold, etsey is always a good laugh though.

There are many counterfeit 1 oz. gold Maple Leaf bullions out
there but thankfully they are easy to spot. At least ebay will
remove them when reported, unlike the other selling platforms.

Those radial lines too way too coarse for my linking.
The RCM put fine lines in the fields as an aid against fake coins.
I have 6x1 ounce Maple Leaf platinum bullion coins accepted over the counter from Australia's leading bullion dealer

If you are in the mind to buy bullion coins, then do so from an accredited bullion dealer, preferably over the counter, so that you can personally examine them in hand before purchase.
Keep and photograph all of the purchase documentation.

When it comes to sell, you can easily establish your trust and honesty with the new buyer, or
you can sell them back to the bullion dealer more easily, especially if you are able to produce the original purchase documentation.

In some countries, the sales tax paid on the original purchase becomes a deduction against tax on profits in your on-sell.
So, keeping all of the purchase documentation is important.
Especially so, with large scale bullion stackers..

The price is too good to be true. And Etsy is full of scammers- whether it's overpriced common coins or simply fakes.

Yes, the price of gold is approx $2200 CDN and they have that fake they hope to sell for 1/3 of that? I thought that they were supposed to be smart.
