Yes very true I really enjoy going through Change looking for variety and error coins but I guess I'll need a little more experience...this is also the other coin I had posted if you can tell me what you think

Well .... decent images but the last coin looks like it has environmental damage to both surfaces.

@Anthony Sorry to tell you the followings. Please do not be offence, because is far for me this think. I give you a suggestion and an idea. Before to go in the varieties and errors business, please try to study well those by the coins you choice. My suggestion it is not to start with all kind of coins, take one denomination after other. All my best.

@ant, first welcome to CCF. Second, since best practice is to start a new thread for each new coin, I have split the discussion of your cent into a separate thread.

. Not die chips. Plating issues. No added value.

It will be a big help if you told us what it is you think might be out of ordinary strike on this coin so that we can focus around your need. otherwise as mentioned,it looks like an ordinary coin with environmental damage and worth face value.

The one BIG thing to learn is this: Not every coin is a error coin. Error coins are rare. Your coin has post mint damage. This damage could be from any number of sources. Keep searching!
