I was a online coin dealer from 98 to 2002 Started selling other things after that. But I have hundreds bu rolls left I can check on value of those.
But back then I purchased 4 sealed mint bags 1959 P 1959D 1960P 1960D
A local coin shop want to see them but not sure what I should ask for them Any help will be appreciated.

Wow Santa Claus came early this year. Sweet bag. I would love to have a bag like that.Wow! 1960 bag of 1960 P cents sold for $277 on ebay in Sept., 2010 . Hard to say now. I would definitely go to one of the big auctions with this bag.Top auction houses like Heritage would give you an estimate on a price.

All common dates but errors abound . I would say a price of $300 to $350 per bag would be fine unless you knew that the 1960-P bag was full of small dates .

Quote: If it'll fit, it'll ship.. Well the USPS said it and they have to live up to it not, but I'm not too sure they took that into consideration when they did that. Besides not sure you would be able to insure it for too much , (or can you?)

I think there is a limit, but I've insured flat rate packages in excess of 4K.

Alpha33 is right. That is what they told me too. If it fits in the box, which is a good size, they will ship it. They told me whatever you can pack in the box. Maybe worth a trip to see how big the box is. USPS Medium Flat Rate Box (top-loading): max weight: up to 70 lbs / dim: 11" x 8.75" x 6" USPS Medium Flat Rate Box (side-loading): max weight: up to 70 lbs / dim: 14" x 12" x 3.5"
price or cost is not that much.

The problem That I can see with mint sewn bags that are about 60-65 years old is they have been shoved and bounced around quite a bit . Thus would have lots of bag marks and imperfections .

Maybe yes maybe no. For the right price, and left unopened, I think it would make a cool collectors piece.

Also since it has a seal but isn't mint sewn it could just be a reused 1959 bag and could have anything in it.
