I don't see any DD but I do see Machine Doubling.
You can't have a repunched mm as they were not
hand punched after 1989, they are part of the master die.
Also the marks are damage after the coin was struck.
It is a spender as there is no extra value.

It helps if you tell us where you see doubling, and if you researched the three main reference sites for DDO or DDRs, and maybe even send us a link?

You didn't finish your sentence... you were under the impression these were.... what? If you would have said " Machine Doubling" you would be correct! Not a DDO nor a DDR, sorry. Again, reference links to your findings would be helpful.

Most of the incuse marks are coin damage. Not a mint error.

I'm seeing a circulated 2011 D nickel--no DDO or DDR characteristics, a fair amount of dings/hits/abrasions. Do see some Machine Doubling. JimmyD (above) is dead on with the mint mark matter.

With date/denomination pairing, where should you be looking for the DDO / DDR on this design. Keep in mind that the single squeeze dies have specific areas where you will find a doubled die. (Clue central area of the design) To look in other areas if a waste of time if you are searching for doubled dies. So check the resources and see where you should look for doubled dies on that design. What you will learn, will make your eyes be trained what/where to look to find these doubled dies. This applies to all the new coins. The hub doubling is not like the examples you will find on the older. coins. Look at those areas. When you discover they are not affected, move on to the next coin. Dawdling there will only let you find more Machine Doubling, die wear, coin contact. Seconds. If not there, move onto the next potential coin.
If you get a full box of the same run of coins in a box, look at 5-10 rolls and then you will pretty much know what is in the rest of the box. (excluding mint errors that are usually a one time event) Not there, move on. Save your eyes to see more coins in the areas of listed examples. Know what to look for and then you won't be so down disappointed when you are told "That is Machine Doubling." Know what you are looking for "First."
