1999 Denver Dime Its That Edge Thing Again

I did a little research and found a topic posted here on the exact coin. A 1999 dime with the same thing. Someone else also chimed in on that topic saying that they had the same thing on another 1999 dime. I would have posted on that topic but the thread was locked. I was wondering since possibly three of these 1999 dimes have been found like this, what could it be? Report this Post to the Staff

Could be a slight amount of grease on the gutter area of the die.
