I found this in my wallet the other day and think its pretty neat. 16969691
Its a prime number, when flipped upside down its the same, three repeats, ends and starts with the same digit.

I was thinking maybe here people could give info on if this is a rarer dollar or something.

Interesting. Not sure if these flippers have any value in circulated condition.

That is an interesting find! I don't collect serial number varieties so I don't have a clue if this would bring any premium, but since it's only a dollar I'd definitely put it in a sleeve and hang onto it...

I'm sure there are people who would pay a premium for a note like that.

. Nice find and I would keep it in a Mylar holder. We have an expert on notes, Steve, and I will wait for him to chime in.

Welcome to CCF Scout.
If I found the note in circulation, I'd be tempted to keep it, but I wouldn't spend anything above face value to own it. As a general rule, if you have to explain why it's fancy, it's not fancy. It's an "almost" note, and unfortunately not in ideal condition. If you like it, that's all that matters.

Good eye!

I'm pretty sure that someone would pay more that $1 for that. Not the sort of more than $1 that will make you rich, but maybe your scored a free lunch or dinner. If your heart has a $ amount that its willing to part with it for, you can ad 15% for fees as a starting point in an auction and see if you find a bidding war on it. I've seen crazier things sell before.
