I have three of these quarters and they look doubled to me. What do you think? Any help or info appreciated

Looking at the devices and seeing how they are reduced in size and are step like - I think you are looking at MD here.

Thanks Dearborn. In hand it doesn't appear reduced or step like to me at least. Hard to capture but I think the third photo shows the contour of the anomaly best. They also look exactly alike but I couldn't find any die markers to show they're from the same die

I think Dearborn is correct, Machine Doubling, not a DDR.

Thanks merclover. It could be mechanical damage. After finding 3 I said maybe there's something here. Looks like I maybe wrong again

I sent my DDR to Wexlers and never got it back!

Guys remember John has some heath issues. So keep that in mind when wondering why it is not back yet. He will take care of it, as time allows for him. Always nice to the see the bull on the other side of the fence, before entering the pasture. So life events face all of us. Even me. Keep that in mind when you make public comments. They remain a lot longer. These posts can still be edited to keep this from being a permanent record.
