Wrekkdd Pillar of the Community Canada 3328 Posts	Posted 06/20/2022 02:50 am A coin can be uncirculated but still have contact marks, more often then not uncirculated sets and coins are far from perfect, the ding in the bottom the the A is also damage, it's still a fairly nice coin though and silver. Another example of this is the line on JFK's nose. It is still a nice coin and worth saving for the silver though. The top of the area in question is showing a dark area, indicating the it is incuse on the coin. The displaced wave is what you are seeing from the hit the coin took from an edge of another coin.
