Hi folks - I got a roll of 2020 P Salt River Bay quarters from the mint. Not uncirculated but, they are in pretty good condition. Hunting for errors. I seem to have come across a few things but, I'm not sure if its actually errors or just scratches/marks from use/sorting machines. Would appreciate if you could take a look and share any feed back you may have.

1) there is a documented feeder scrape on the Washington's cheek and a few of these look like it could be it.
2) I didn't see this listed but it looks like there is a dot or period after the mint mark on this one.
3) Maybe Cud marks on the edge or is it just wear (just above America).

Finally, based on the pics for the condition of the coins, do you think its worth sending to get a couple of the best ones (less scratches, very shiny luster) graded?

Thanks so much!

Just contact marks on the coin. A mint error is a one of a kind error. The term errors is vaguely used to mean anything from Coin damage varieties or die events. So research to see what varieties there are before Takes a lot more guesses, than to know what to look for on the listed varieties.

In pictures 3 and 4, you can see that just below the MM are contact marks from a reeded edge of another coin.

You should not be holding your coin with any metal instruments - you can damage them and reduce any inherent value that could be attached.
Also posting so many different coins in one topic is very confusing - especially without any annotations (such as 'coin 1, coin2 etc')
But we do frown on having multiple coins in one topic with one exception - when comparing a normal coin with a possible damaged/error coin.

But all the coins (how many, I do not know), show multiple contact marks from bags and circulation

OK, thanks so much! I'm new and learning and thought they were probably all scuff marks but, I thought I'd ask you experts to be sure.
