You've probably seen the certain coins in PCGS holders with names like Hugon Collection, Fairmont Collection, Mike Casper Collection, and Manhattan Collection. PCGS has recognized many of these large collections and hoards, as they put a proper name onto the label next to the grade of the coin.

Let's say I wanted to have labels on my coins that say The Jacrispies Collection. Are there certain criteria that need to be met to be able to achieve that label? Maybe they all need to be submitted in a large set? There must be extra fees that are involved for the special label.

Good question. Seems like most slabbers would do it at an additional cost of course . They make special labels for some of the coin shows on TV.

As far as I know, this can be done for a fee.

So what sort of collection do you have that merits this sort of distinction?
Rest in Peace

In my opinion I would think that's only reserved for holders of $10,000 coins or more .

You have to have a 100% complete top 5 collection in the PCGS registry. They will add the pedigree for the reholder fee. See https://www.PCGS.com/setregistry/benefits

This exception rule sucks:

Quote:
PCGS does not pedigree modern Mint and Proof sets (1965-present), Everyman Collections, Everyman Mint State or Low Ball sets.

That means a set I have been working on for more than 12 years, will never get pedigreed.
