Hi again

I was wondering if anybody could tell me anything about the two pendants my grandfather gave us. On the back of the coat of arms pendant there is a Large R maybe a t after that, then No 253 and below that 9W. thank you

253 is the silver content. I'm no expert on this.

The small pendant with Queen Victoria on it was made from a British threepence, "old head" type from the 1890's.

The larger one features the same coat of arms as depicted on the early Australian silver coins, but I think it was made from scratch. This style of arms was only officially in use from 1908 to 1912, so your pendant probably dates from around that time. The stamps on the back are jeweller's hallmarks.
