Quick Question, 2005 D Jefferson Nickel Bank Rolls

newdude Valued Member United States 198 Posts	Posted 06/30/2022 11:49 am I have 2 2005 D nickle bank rolls. Given I have no idea where in the run they were struck and I'm Really new to this hobby. newdude Valued Member United States 198 Posts	Posted 06/30/2022 12:52 pm from what I read, there is a die crack that runs through the buffalo from about the second T in states to just under his mid section. newdude Valued Member United States 198 Posts	Posted 06/30/2022 10:52 pm Yeah, I opened one. Left the other alone. For unopened coins these nickels are really banged up. Nicks and scratches everywhere. No wear or discoloration. Also read they weren't handled well at the mint and it shows. Report this Post to the Staff
