Trying to learn to spot weak strikes vs Struck Through Grease vs just normal wear. What are these guys? Any help is appreciated!

Interesting. I would say normal circulation wear as a gut reaction. I am interested to see where we net out on this.

Brighter pics would help, certainly. I'm guessing for now that the reverse of the '26-D and certainly the obverse of the '23-S (with its ghosting effects) are the products of overused dies.

Just like the over polished dies on the 1922-D cents, it looks like this is an example of a 1923-S. First one of these I've seen before. The 1926 looks like a well circulated example.
