It is, unfortunately, a replica. I can say this with reasonable confidence, because the two sides actually come from two different coins.
The top picture somewhat crudely replicates the design of the "ban liang", which romantically translates to "half ounce".
Here's a WIkipedia example. The Ban Liang coins were the earliest of the "round coin with a square hole" style invented in China, and originated in the State of Qin, the precursor-state from which the first emperor of China began his rule back in 221 BC. Ban Liang coins continued to be issued though the early Han Dynasty period, up until around 118 BC when the Wu Zhu design took over.
As you can see from the Wikipedia example, Ban Lang coins are always uniface.
I have seen the design on the other side, but can't recall where. I believe it is another very early coin design, of similar vintage to the Ban Liang.
I have also seen this particular replica before, sitting in a coin dealer's tray of odd bits and pieces.
