Hey guys!
I was coin roll hunting dimes and found a coin that I can't find any info on anywhere.
It is a 1989p dime, but the rim is shiny silver, no copper layer at all, also on the rim, half the rim has ridges and the other have is smooth, it's like split in half.
Does anyone know what this is?

Thank you

Could be damage, could be an error.
Without a clear photo of each side there is no way of telling.

The dime was probably plated. There were no Silver coins that year. Need images to show us to tell what you really have.

to the CCF and With it having only 1/2 the reeds, it might be an out of collar strike.
