MS62 for me--a fair amount of chatter present. A good album hole filler until better comes along.

Thank you, I appreciate your opinions. Do you think its worth pay for grading this penny?

NO! Not worth the cost of grading on this CENT. Look on eBays sold listings for similar slabbed cents, results may surprise you.

Grading fees vary between the grading companies and with quantity numbers, but "in general" you want the grading fees to cost you less than the submission costs (including postage, insurance and handling) plus the cost of your coin and any return investment it has (or might have). A very "ballpark" number you would want to have is about 2x all your costs combined, to make your "investment" about $150. Anything under a final value of this amount in general isn't worth the effort involved. Most likely it will cost you $80+ for all the fees, the question you should ask is, if I needed to sell the coin, will I get my investment money back? If you're interested in having a coin graded, the easiest way is to take your coin into your local coin shop and submit it through them. Do your homework and see what already graded similar coins have sold for (like ebay's sold listings). And too, any error or varieties labeling requires an additional fee (and you have to supply the correct info). We'll give you our honest opinions as to grades, but you'll have to do the math and see if it works for you. Bonne chance!

Thank you so much! I will go to find some location near me to see what worth or what no, I have fews very good coins, so I will do as you said. And yes I am looking at ebay and others website, and also I watched a lot of videos on YouTube and the page you also send me to look at. So thank you so much for your help.

in order to even consider slabbing a 63D LMC the coin needs to be MS66. this one isn't even close. even at MS64RD the coin is worth about $9 at 63RD its worth one cent.

Yes , you have to realize a 1963-P RD Memorial cent is very common . In the grade that this one is in it would have a retail price of about 35-50 ˘ . Don't put too much reliability on you tube . A hand full of seasoned members frown upon the tube for valuable information .

Merc was right on grading. This coin with so many kicks on rims, with low strike details, I will say at the best 62RD
