What would you like to know?
It was minted at the San Francisco mint and had over 6 million struck.

Oops, my bad. I didn't notice this was in the grading forum.

I'll say VG-08 as well.

Yep, classic VG-8 of a semi-key better date, obverse actually looks a little higher in grade, up to a F-12 perhaps, reverse is probably weakly-struck.

VG08/VG10 for me. Nice honest looking coin. Not seeing much, if any signs of die clashes, die polishing, or Die Deterioration, so earlier die state. Overall, looks like a well struck example for the date, with just slight weakness noticeable. 1920's especially San Fran minted Buffs are notorious for strike and die state issues. This would have been a killer coin when it was in MS.

Buffalo nickels are a tough series to grade due to all the striking and die state issues. Understanding the "quirks" of this series definitely helps. There's a lot of good threads here on CCF, just run through the search.

I'm going with a technical grade of VF25. a TPG may grade it VG10 but something is up with the reverse die and maybe FC will enlighten us. the obv is way more detailed than a VG coin with a rounded cheek. these early buffs are very difficult to grade unless you are well versed with the dies and techniques they were using at the time.
