I found a 2016 Harpers Ferry Quarter that caught my eye as the color was different and appears to be a cladding error.
If anyone has any advice or can elaborate about this coin it will be greatly appreciated.
The coin weights 5.67 grams

Environmental toning/tarnishing/discolourization. Post mint damage. It this was a true cladding error it would be reddish in colour.

Thanks
The reason I said cladding issue was I can't seem to identify any difference in color when looking at the rim at all.

Not a cladding issue.
Whatever happened, happened after it left the mint.

Agree with toning/discoloration--the result of exposure to an environmental agent. I've seen similarly toned/discolored clad coins over several decides of coin hunting. This quarter may (may...) have spent a little while in a mall fountain.
