1991 D Penny Possible Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or Something Else?

Jakescoin New Member United States 39 Posts	Posted 07/20/2022 5:32 pm I couldn't find any DDO varieties on vista. Seems like there is something going on with Abe's eye (right in front of pupil and maybe coming out above eyelid). Also his lapel seems like it may have doubling north/south. Pretty sure the other stuff on "America" and "liberty" is md. But would love to hear some more thoughts on these areas. Thanks for looking! Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 07/21/2022 12:43 pm Because of the die polishing, this can weaken the sub lower devices on the the design. It is not mentioned as it was part of the normal design. The reverse devices are showing Die wear on the outer edges of the devices/or almost a plating split on that area. (Not DDD yet as this is not a single squeeze die yet) Note the right side of the building is starting to show split plating. Just a normal circulated cent. Report this Post to the Staff
