They are on ebay and have been selling for $5 to $20
even though some have them listed as high as $49.95

Many of these are not even bid on.

ONE TROY OUNCE SILVER ROUND

THIS TRIBUTE IN LIGHT COIN COMMEMORATES THE EVENTS OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001.

THE FRONT SHOWS THE STATUE OF LIBERTY WITH PART OF THE SKYLINE OF NEW YORK BEHIND AND THE BEAMS OF LIGHT THAT REPRESENTED THE TWIN TOWERS

THE BACK OF THE COINS HAS THE OUTLINE OF AN EAGLE

ALSO ON THE BACK IS A LIST OF THE EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE THAT TRAGIC DAY

The biggest problem is........it's NOT A UNITED STATES MINT PRODUCT !
Even the country of Liberia puts out silver and gold U.S. commemoratives.
Let alone all of the "private mints" that exist in THIS country that make and sell things.....
That's why it's generally "at or below spot value"......whatever the price of Silver is on any given day....that's what it'd be worth.

I bought a 1oz. Silver Proof coin while in Alaska a few years ago. It's Minted by the Alaska Mint.....comes with official papers and everything.....beautiful mirror-like proof surface......stunning coin.........BUT IT WILL NEVER BE WORTH MORE THAN "SPOT" PRICE OF SILVER MOST LIKELY.

On the other hand......that ole saying.....something is only worth what you can find somebody to pay you for it.
That could be more than you expected .....and it could be much less than you expected !
