I think we just have to have patience. Don't buy just to get them quick.

There may have been some other underhanded dealing going on as well. He claims those cents came from the bicentennial launch program in Hodgenville Ky. But at the program they had a limit of 10 rolls per person. Yet somehow this dealer from New York got at least 81 rolls, with at least 75 rolls still in unopened boxes. Someone wasn't following the rules. (My guess is that after everyone who attened had what they wanted he offered to take what they had left.)

Well Condor, there at the end, people's greed was getting the best of them. One guy was shouting he'd pay $50 a box and another guy said $75, needless to say people were selling and getting back in line. When they lifted the limit to 1 box per person per time through the line, they said they had 80 boxes with about 20 of us there. I made it through three times and they said they were out. I figure there was about 15 boxes left...I guess the people there heard the guy wanting to buy them for $75 a box or $3 a roll and decided to cash in! Hahaha! But it appears buying them in the parking lot wouldn't have been a bad thing since boxes are selling between $500 and $750.

How is the sorting going, Nelrak? Have you started a folder for them?
See anything cool in your boxes?

Well if you think about it, most of the auctions have been starting off low and it's the bidders driving the price not the sellers. It's not like scaplers, it's like an auction.
I guess if someone was going to pay you 2800% ROI, it'd be hard to pass up!
That is true. 2800% is tough to pass up.
I kind of feel like scalping has become out of control b/c the tickets seem to be dished out before anybody else can even get them. It seems like many are on the take and they don't ever really go on sale.
It's almost the same w/ the pennies right now because nobody has them. I guess it will be all the more satisfying when I find one.
I understand selling something that is no longer made. But something that still has yet to come out? I guess it's supply & demand throughout the US and the internet has really opened that up. It's actually kind of neat in a way I guess.
