This coin has some funny stuff going on on the obverse. Possibly multi struck or something to do with the die cap. I drew a couple of lines mirroring what I see. These are sellers pictures (I'm busy right now but can get better pictures if needed in a few days). I've never seen another one of these so I scooped it up. What do you think?

Also looks like an off center broadstrike not in the collar strike. (No rims present on either side)

This cent was struck through a dislodged and laterally shifted die cap. In the northeast you see the "zone of collapse", where the wall of the cap was telescoped into the planchet. The back of a faint, correctly-facing incuse bust is seen to the southwest of the normal raised ghost bust. I'm guessing the relatively thick cap floor prevented formation of more recognizable incuse design elements.

Thanks Mike. Always nice to have another pair of trained eyes on an error.

Thanks Mike! And coop! Really cool coin imo. Also I have noticed a recent price increase for capped die strikes. I've got several normal ones I'll sell one day but probably keep this one.
