Well,
"what is the most informative" can be subjective...each person feels differently about what's important. Most of the major mags-both weekly and monthly are pretty decent. I would maybe suggest heading to your nearest big box bookstore, buy an outrageously priced cup of coffee and peruse a few of the different ones to see which one YOU like...then be like me and buy 'em ALL-just kidding.

P.S. I myself get a great deal of entertainment reading through the classified ads in these...they can be very "informative"!

I have always liked the monthly issues of CoinValues. They have a full retail price guide and usually 1 or 2 decent articles.

I have a subscription to Numismatics News, it is a weekly newspaper-style magazine and is about $36/year.

I Like Coinage and Coin World. But what ever you buy ther will be to much advertising and not enough reading.

Coin Values is one of my favorites. I love the grading related articles...very helpful. The price guide is on the high side though.

I like Coinage and Coin worlds coin values, however just look out for the ads not all of them are legit in what they advertise. The biggest ads are the problem and both magazines will not do anything about them because those advertisers spend the most money to keep the magazines going.
