Same like a few other people here...i buy on impulse and only because I like a coin ( regardless of it's value)
But I'm new, maybe it's going to get better over time ?

Well, I am new to coin collecting, in less than a month I've spent $50. The problem is, most is junk. After a few weeks ive become more educated, and will probably get better bang for my buck! Already, my weakness is ebay lol.

I spend on whatever takes my fancy, strangly enough I have almost spent as much on Renniks coin holders as coins themselves.

I don't set aside budgets for coins (or much else for that matter); I buy when I feel like it. My annual expenditure is variable and unpredictable. Some years it has been about $5000, and others it has been close to $100. I never know.
