It does look like it could be high mint state. If there really is underlying luster, it would be a nice candidate for conservation.

I'm going to go with MS62 using the new photos. eye appeal and lack of luster will keep it from going any higher.

Even though at first glance no luster is apparent, a closer study shows little to no disruption of the surface. I think this is MS, or this is MS cleaned, hard to say for sure. I would pay AU-58 cleaned money for it to take a chance.

It sold for £1900 plus commission which is £2318. I was underbidder at £1800. I hope one of the coincommunity members bought it so we can see better photos!
