This is a RIDICULOUS proposal. Perhaps one commemorative coin, but 120 - pfft!

Obviously, Plenty of these " 120 " will NOT make the cut, IMO. Just like most other years, Plenty of Candidates....... Love the Ideas. Even saw a Proposed Commemorative for the 1959 Lincoln Cent Design, a Silver Dollar version !!!!!!!

For 2023, how about a coin commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the first President to pay taxes? March 14: President Warren Harding is the first president to pay taxes. Alongside the crook's effigy, show his most famous quote: "I am not fit for this office and should never have been here." /sarcasm mode

Even last minute, I would still support a 250th Anniversary of the 1773 Boston Tea Party - it was undeniably a pivotal moment in US history.

Instead of 120 coins, one only commemorative coin in base metal, issued into circulation, with unlimited mintage, so that it is common, so that every US citizen can recognize and remember the sacrifice of life made by the fire fighting services generally.
Or is that just too much common sense?

Quote: I am completely fine with getting a break in '23. My break is this year. Only thing I bought from the Mint was the 2021 Proof and Silver Proof sets because I had a coupon! Next year will be Morgans and Peace dollars. I ordered 2 of each proof and 3 of the reverse proof set. I would love to see a Boston Tea Party Commemorative. I could see it getting some flak because of the Tea Party and politics though.

Meanwhile, the British Mint will be issuing a coin to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Rolling Stones.....
