Got so distracted I missed my 1961 and 1960 entries! Here's the 1959 - a coin most of you would probably rather prefer not to see... Part of a nice gift from a CCF member, @jeffrose, I believe - this dime, some more nice 50s coins, and a large bunch of lower-grade wheat cents. That was back in 2012 when I was still new on CCF.

Some more of 1959 Nigeria - Threepence, 12 sided brass like the UK, and Fiji Greece - Dekadrachm (10), this large coin first came out in 1959 and was larger than the previous 5 Drachma. The coin was cupronickel and was worth around 20 cents at the time. However in 1960 a silver 20 Drachma (Eikosdrachm) was released - see my 1960. The Dekadrachm was shrunk in size slightly in 1973, but remained a big cupronickel coin until 2001. The other end of the scale was the near worthless 10 and 20 Lepta coins. Coins under 50 lepta did not reference the monarch and thus the type remained the same from 1954 to 1973 (I also have a pair of these in 1971!) There was also a 5 lepta which I don't have (Trigg, Dorado if you please ) Another worthless coin of the time, was the 10 centimos of Spain, this was their lowest value coin at the time and 15mm and aluminium. I wonder what you could have brought with it, even then, one grain of wheat? 1959 is a sparse year for me. One more coin later.

I just realised I have two more coins for "59" Canadian Dollar - these are getting harder to find UNC now, this one is EF/AU and cleaned. Iraq 5 fils (Dorado showed another iraqi coin and it jogged my mind - thanks Dorado ) Next 1958, again low key as this is my elderly partner care day and night.

Quote: There was also a 5 lepta which I don't have (Trigg, Dorado if you please) Sorry PrinceTane I can only show a picture of an 1882 5 lepta, as that is the only one I have. Quote: 1959 is a sparse year for me. I have quite a few, 94 to be exact, but most of the pics I have on file aren't that good or don't show the year.

Thanks dude. Its amazing I have all the Greek moderns include 4 of the Eikosdrachme and 6 or 7 of the 10 and 20 leptas, but none of those.
TM - Interesting I have the 1882 10 Lepta and 1869 one as well and even a 1838 10 Lepta (Othon).
