Nice! I have the 1528 in a bit rougher shape. This is the earliest year that coins rom the Torun mint were dated (in addition to the solidus, 1, 3 and 6 groschen coins were struck).   |

Yes these seem to have had heavy wear over the years, or maybe that is just a result of our budgets not being unlimited... I have another Hungarian Denar for today:   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

This uniface pfennig from the Austrian City State of Steiermark is even smaller than those Hungarian Denars--it is 13 mm and 0.3 g.   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

This Ottoman Akce is dated 926 AH, which corresponds generally to 1524 AD. It isn't uniface, but one side is largely obliterated.   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

On my own end, I hadn't posted anything in a while, but I should have coins for both 1522 and 1521, and my next possible entries after that are 1517, 1511, 1452, 1387. (I'd be really surprised if I get to post my 1387 coin in the 6th edition, but perhaps I might yet be able to get there in the 7th.) |
