It seems rare in these very early dates to have more than one coin posted per year, but in this case I can post my own 789 AH...

Timurid Empire, first occupation of Iran (1387-8)
(Timur) in the name of Suyurghatmish
AR miri (2 dinars)
Furk (Forg) mint, 789 AH (1387 AD)
Album 2367.1, Zeno cat. 6020
not on Numista AFAICT

The date is a bit messy due to the uneven strike, not helped by the bad pics, but AFAICT it's a die match to the (many) Furk mint examples on Zeno, most of which have a much more legible date.

Here's where the date should be AFAICT:

This is like herding cats sometimes.

Anyone want to guess who is supposed to be posting the 1386/788? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

For 1386, here is my AH (7)88 Juchid Mongols silver dirham, in fairly tidy condition. I think this one got squirred away.

I previously posted in 6th edition the location of the date, but I now believe that was slightly in error, and this is the proper location of the "8" markings.
