Duchy of Brabant 1 groat, undated attributed as 1384: Struck during a monetary convention between Joan of Brabant and Phillip of Flanders, so both places issued the same type at the same specifications, with both coats of arms (here with Brabant on the left and Burgundy-Flanders on the right), and the names of both rulers.

Quote: Duchy of Brabant 1 groat, undated attributed as 1384 Excellent! Do not go far! You and ttkoo are on notice—1383/785 tomorrow. But if you wanted to post it today, I might be able to look the other way.

For an early 1383, I have this very leached Hungarian Denier of Mary I edit: best get a move on....the 6th edition may be on the move again as of first thing tomorrow.

Before someone posts a coin from 1381, I wanted to show this Venetian Soldino that is datable to 1382 AD:
"If you climb a good tree, you get a push." -----Ghanaian proverb
"The danger we all now face is distinguishing between what is authentic and what is performed." -----King Adz

1381 (AH 783) Juchid Mongols copper Pul The 3 in the date is barely discernable in these shots, but easier to see in the hand. ...open house down under at Encounter Bay, if you are interested in seeing that!
