does this bill offer any kind of doubling sequence in the serial number? trying to understand what all qualifies for that.

There is actually no way to arrange those numbers into a "fancy" sequence.

Here are 3 lists of what many consider to be 'fancy serial numbers' to look out for.

There are others that some might collect and have minor value, but those on these lists are main ones to focus on. For example, serial numbers can contain dates. The format might change depending on your locale, but a number like 07041776 or 02221732 could indicate the finalization of the Declaration of Independence, or George Washington's birthday. Some people try to collect numbers matching their birthdays or other life milestones and therefore to them these might have some value and would buy it at a premium, but other collectors just see them as normal face value to give you an example.
