coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/05/2022 11:09 am The area you are look at is incuse. That is a contact mark on the coin. Not a DDO. If it were A DDO, that area would be raised. The ear is just the normal shape with a contact mark on it. Check this thread for what to look for on Doubled dies on ears http://goccf.com/t/428096#3676635 This way you can enlarge the image and see what to see on a doubled ear. Enjoy!
