I Just Found This Nickel (No Date) - Coin Community Forum

Dave42 Pillar of the Community United States 571 Posts	Posted 08/06/2022 1:27 pm Somebody went to town on that nickel with sandpaper or something similar. You can tell by the scratch type marks left behind by whatever was used. There is nothing during the minting process that would cause this sort of thing. People do strange things to coins sometimes, either for fun or to try to fake an error coin. Report this Post to the Staff
