Hello Fellow Coinsters. I work part time at a convenience store as a cashier. With that said, I see alot of coinage. This half dollar was one that I bought from my till. Upon close inspection, really not even that close, something on the obverse has gone wrong. Maybe MD, but I would think that would be a somewhat extreme case of MD. Though I'm no expert. Also on the reverse the words HALF DOLLAR looks to be doubled possibly. Insight would be most appreciated. And as always thank you for your shared knowledge.

It looks like Machine Doubling.

On the obverse, note the eye, you can see the Machine Doubling on that area strongest.

Thank you everyone. It is really nice when you can conclude on a coin.
